Haiku for Bamboo

In simple terms, a haiku is a 3-line Japanese poem, typically involving two ideas or images relating to nature and typically where the first line is 5 syllables, the second is 7 syllables and the last is 5 syllables. For example:
Japanese bamboo.

RULES:
Your haiku must:
1. Be original, written by you.
2.. Follow the 5 - 7 - 5 syllable structure above.
3. Contain subject matter relating to knitting or crochet and the natural world.
Deadline to enter is December 1, 2019. Entries will be judged by our panel of judges and chosen soon after the deadline date. If there are more than 50 entries, our judges will choose 10 finalists for public voting on our website. If you are a winner, we will notify you by email and/or phone and will request your mailing address at that time so we can send you your prize.
Permissions: By submitting the form, you agree to the judging procedure above, and you grant us permission to post your haiku on Instagram, Facebook, in our public newsletter and on our website. If you are a winner, you grant us permission to announce your name on Instagram, Facebook, in our public newsletter and on our website.
